However, if at any point you decide to get involved in any projects for children or vulnerable adults, take up a role in a school or college or want to deliver classes or training to children or vulnerable adults, you’ll need to take an enhanced DBS check.

The enhanced DBS check will include a search for spent convictions, reprimands, cautions, warnings and non-conviction information held by relevant police forces.

Anyone who works with children or vulnerable adults is subject to this level of check.
